Meet Ridhi — Your New Student Counsellor is Here & Ready to Support You!
Hi everyone!
My name is Ridhi Kapoor, and I’m so excited to be joining the SCEI family as your new Student Counsellor & Student Engagement Officer!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself properly because I think it matters who you’re talking to before you reach out for support.
A little about me:
I hold a Master of Counselling and a Bachelor of Psychological Science, and I’m a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (Level 2).
But honestly? Qualifications only tell part of the story: I became a counsellor because I genuinely believe that everyone, at some point, needs a safe space to be heard without judgment. I’ve worked with students, young people, and families through some of life’s most difficult moments, and that work has shown me just how much courage it takes to ask for help. That’s something I deeply respect in every person who reaches out. What I love most about working with students is watching someone walk in, feeling stuck and walks out feeling just a little lighter. That moment makes everything worthwhile.
