Tomorrow, Saturday 25 April, we observe ANZAC Day, a National Day of Remembrance in Australia and New Zealand.

ANZAC Day invites us to pause and reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who have served, and continue to serve, in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. It is also a time to acknowledge the lasting impact of these experiences on individuals, families, and communities.

Values such as courage, mateship, compassion, and resilience, central to ANZAC Day, remain important in how we care for one another and foster supportive communities today.

Please note that as campus is already closed on Saturdays, there is no additional public holiday or change to campus operations for ANZAC Day.

If this day brings up thoughts or emotions for you, whether personal, family-related, or reflective, support is available. Students are always welcome to reach out for counselling support if they feel they would benefit from a safe and confidential space to talk.

Lest we forget.

Warm regards,
